In addition to our hoods for long nose mustangs we are now happy to offer original length hoods. Our first ones are the 67-68 with the S-style scoops in both louvered and non-louvered. We use 3 layers of 1 1/2 oz of fiberglass on the top side and then same amount on the underside. Our hoods also have special reinforced webbing along the outer edges of the hood to keep it from bowing. For the hinge area we use 18 inches of steel for additional strength. We also use J-clips for mounting the hood instead of a drill and tap. This is done for adjustment from side to side which is what you really need if you are using billet hinges.
