The shifter is made from polished billet aluminum with a thread size of 12 x 1.75mm. This shifter was designed out of necessity when I tried other brands and they really didn't feel right to this old drag racer. With this shifter your shoulder stays on the seat when you shift into third and fifth gear, unlike some of the after market shifters on the market that make you lean forward.
