Introducing the Mustangs To Fear aluminum gas tank. This beautiful tank is made in the USA to our specifications. Versions are available for the stock tail fill (shown) or the side/sail panel fill. You may choose to purchase a tank with or without the internal pump. The pump can be easily added later.
These 20 gallon tanks are ready to install. No modification of the chassis is required. Internals include an Aeromotive Stealth 340 fuel pump, fuel level sending unit, baffles, drain plug, fuel supply and return line bungs.
The Stealth 340 Pump provides 340 lph @ 40 psi and is suitable for EFI and carburated applications. It is noted that a 1/2" return line is required for carburated applications. https://aeromotiveinc.com/product/340-fuel-pump-offset-inlet-2/
The fuel supply and return bungs can be located for clearance of 4 link or 3 link rear suspensions. Fuel lines are routed outside the trunk compartment for added safety. A drain plug is added to ease service.
The internal baffles are designed to prevent fuel pump cavitation during hard acceleration, braking and/or cornering. At least 1 gallon of fuel will remain at the pump pick-up.
The 5052 aluminum can be polished to show finish or left a natural finish.
Inlet and outlet port size is 3/8 NPT.
